MA is an educational initiative that places the comprehensive learning of all participants at its core. Children, families, and educators grow alongside one another, in a space that recognizes us as beings capable of transforming reality and offering our vision to build a better world.

At the heart of our project lies a deep belief: to learn, people need a secure environment that protects our emotional, physical, and mental well‑being. For this to happen, it is essential that adults receive proper training and have sufficient resources to support children calmly and efficiently. In doing so, we can attend to the different needs of each developmental stage.

To make this possible, our ratios are kept small and adapted to each educational stage:

Children are born with a remarkable talent for seeking creative answers to the many enigmas and challenges life presents. They possess a great ability to be present and connected with their essence and inner self. Our mission as a school is to nurture that inner flame, allowing it to shine with its own light and guiding them in their life path and purpose.

When children feel secure and connected to their essence, they naturally wish to explore their environment. At MA we take great care in designing spaces and materials intended to favor the holistic development of children at every different stage.

Our community is predominantly Catalan-, English-, and Spanish-speaking. It makes perfect sense that these three languages are used as vehicular languages at the school. Furthermore, we value the richness brought by other languages present in our international community, which are part of our daily life.

MA is a school officially recognized by the Department d’educació de Catalunya. Our project builds a bridge between the school and our local setting and culture. The MA family community includes national families seeking an open, culturally diverse project as well as families from all around the world. Our international community finds in our project a place to learn, understand, and feel rooted where they live—within an international environment. Our local families enjoy a connection with other languages and cultures without compromising their identity.

Our team consists of professionals in education, psychology, and the arts. Together we share a love for learning and a desire to build a future full of beauty,where we can grow in peace and harmony. Each of us holds specialized training in supporting children’s emotional well‑being and remains in constant personal and academic development to guide children in their life‑long learning journey.
